Every customer-facing text names your business and comes from your Catchline number. Here is the whole loop for a plumbing business, with made-up names and numbers.

Sample conversation with made-up data, not a real customer

The missed-call text

The caller hears a short spoken message that you could not pick up and that a text is on its way, then the call ends. The text arrives in about ten seconds. On Growth and Pro it carries your booking link with the caller's number filled in, so they do not type it twice. On Starter the text asks them to reply instead.

The booking page

Your booking page at catchlinehq.com/book/your-business shows your name, industry icon, phone, hours and address or service area, then three steps: choose a service, choose a day and time, enter a name and mobile number. No account and no app. Under the form the customer is told that you may text them about the booking and that they can reply STOP.

After booking

  • A confirmation text with the service, date, time and a link to change or cancel.
  • A reminder text the day before.
  • On Pro, a review request after you mark the job complete, with a link to your Google review page.

Replies

Anything the customer texts lands in your inbox and alerts your phone. If they write urgent anywhere in the text, you get an URGENT alert and the conversation is tagged. If they ask to book, schedule or about availability, Catchline replies with your booking link at once on Growth and Pro. You can switch that reply off under Settings, Messages and automation.
