Terms of service

Effective September 3, 2026

These are the terms for using Catchline. They are short on purpose. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

Catchline forwards the calls you do not answer, texts the caller in your business name, offers online booking, gives you an inbox, and sends review requests. You decide what is sent and to whom; Catchline carries it out.

Your account

  • Give accurate business details and keep your login private.
  • You are responsible for what your team members do in your account.
  • One business per account. Each plan covers one location.

Acceptable use

  • Only message people who contacted your business or booked with you.
  • Follow telephone and messaging laws where you operate, and give us the business details the carriers need to register your number.
  • No spam, harassment, deceptive messages, or illegal content.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and we will tell you why.

Trial and billing

14 days free with every feature of the Pro plan. No card needed to start. Pick a plan when the trial ends or your texts pause.

Plans are billed monthly in US dollars through Stripe. We give at least 30 days' notice before a price changes.

Cancel anytime from Billing. Your service runs until the end of the period you already paid for, then stops. No cancellation fee.

Missed-call text-backs and the replies you write never stop. When a month's allowance is used up, booking confirmations, reminders and review requests pause until the next month or an upgrade. You get a text from us at 80% and at 100%.

Your data

Your business information and your customers' information stay yours. You give us permission to process them only to run the service for you. You can export or delete them from Settings at any time. Our privacy policy says what we collect and who sees it.

Availability

Catchline depends on phone carriers, messaging networks and other providers. We work to keep the service running but cannot promise it will never be interrupted, or that every text arrives at a particular moment. Delivery timing varies by carrier.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, Catchline is not liable for lost jobs, lost revenue or other indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Ending things

You can cancel at any time from Billing. We can end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately if these terms are broken.

Changes and contact

When these terms change we post the new version here with a new effective date and email account holders about any change that matters. Questions go to hello@catchlinehq.com.
