Your booking page

Every business gets a public booking page. What is on it, who can use it, and how to make it yours.

Updated

On this page

Your booking page lives at catchlinehq.com/book/your-business, and its link is in every missed-call text on Growth and Pro. Customers choose a service, a day and a time, enter a name and mobile number, and get a confirmation text. No account, no app.

What is on it

  • Your business name, industry icon, logo if you added one, phone number, hours, address or service area, and website.
  • Your active services with duration and price. A service with no price shows Quote, and a price of $0 shows Free. Emergency services are listed first and marked.
  • Days with an open time inside your booking window, then the times themselves, in your time zone.
  • Emergency instructions and an emergency phone, if set under After hours.

Who can use it

Online booking is included in Growth, Pro and the free trial. On Starter, and when a plan is not active, the page still shows your details and asks the customer to call or reply to your text instead of showing times.

Share it

The Bookings page has a share card with the link ready to copy and a preview of the page inside a phone. Put the link on your website, your Google listing, your voicemail greeting, cards and invoices.

Make it yours

The page editor changes how the page looks and reads. Edits are kept as a draft until you publish, so a half-finished change never reaches a customer, and nothing you type is ever run as code on the page. You can change:

  • Theme: the accent colour (a palette or your own hex colour), the page background, corner style, and whether the Powered by Catchline line shows.
  • Header: a tinted, plain or solid band, your logo or the industry mark, a small line above your name, a headline and a sentence under it, and which of your phone, address, email and website appear.
  • Wording: an intro, a What to expect list, your cancellation policy, and up to eight questions and answers.
  • Services: the order, which ones appear on the page, a description written for customers, and whether prices and durations show.
  • The form: whether the optional notes field appears and what it is called, and whether the customer is asked for an address.
  • Sections: the order of the sections around the booking steps, and whether hours, what happens next and a call button show.
Open the page editorOpens your dashboard. Sign in first if you are not already.

You can also serve the page from your own domain and embed it in your website.

Protection against abuse

  • One mobile number can make at most 3 bookings in 24 hours, and a business receives at most 30 bookings an hour from the page.
  • A blocked number is refused and told to call.
  • Every time is re-checked when the booking is saved, so two people cannot take the same slot.
