I am not getting notified
Alerts go to one number, and each kind has a switch. Check both, then check the phone itself.
Updated
Open Settings, Notifications and check the alert number at the top. Alerts go there and nowhere else. It is your cell from setup unless you changed it.
Check the switch for the alert you expected: missed calls, customer replies, new bookings, overdue callbacks, failed texts, review link opened, billing or system problems.
Look in the inbox for the alert itself. Owner alerts are recorded like any other text, and a Failed state tells you the carrier refused it.
Check your phone: is your Catchline number blocked, filtered as spam, or silenced by a focus mode? Save the number as a contact.
Did you ever reply STOP to your own Catchline number? Text START to it from your phone.
What each alert needs
| Alert | Sent when |
|---|---|
| Missed call | A customer's call is missed. Your own test calls are not alerted. |
| Customer reply | A customer texts in. A text containing the word urgent is always alerted. |
| New booking | Someone books, moves or cancels online. |
| Overdue callback | A conversation has waited for your reply longer than the limit on the same page. Checked every 15 minutes, one summary per check. |
| Failed text | A text to a customer could not be delivered. |
| Review link opened | A customer opens the review link you sent them, the first time only. Link previews from messaging apps are not counted. |
| Billing | You have used 80%, and then 100%, of the month's texts, or a payment did not go through. |
| System problems | Your booking domain stopped answering because a DNS record was removed or changed. |
Alerts are texts from your own number, so they count towards your monthly allowance.
